Those were some of the hardest articles for me to write. Everywhere in the chart I was looking for some reason for the doctors to have done what they did. It was nauseating to come up empty handed, no critical vital sign, no critical lab value to excuse their actions.

- My understanding is technically you're no longer a health care provider, not practicing. Who struck you off? Did they all of a sudden put you bk on the register just for this occasion? Is that legal?
What difference would it make if you were a journalist or just a member of the public, using your medical knowledge and raising the same questions?
- You obtained consent from the families. (I assume it was recorded) and provided evidence to address your concerns. Obviously the families are concerned too.
- in the letter AHS demand you remove your two posts dated above, and yet they have not provided their own evidence to support their claim and that these practioners could not have performed any other ways when treating the patients, or in fact, they just followed the order or protocol and it wasnt their intention or fault.
- it would appear to me that they do not wish to investigate / review their own practice if they have any areas that might need to be modified to improve and meet the parents' need. The tone of the letter does not give me the impression they are adequately equipped and willing to safeguard their patients health and that their patients lives matter. In other words, if there was an error, not to repeat the same mistake(s).
Hence, from a service user's point of view, it does not give me the confidence to access their health care in the future.
It is a struggle for me to contain the sense of outrage that rises within me around the Covid 19 topic. All the energy that one might need to stop a tyrant floats up in me, the fight or flight thing I suppose.

He suffered a serious concussion and a badly dislocated shoulder in an accident in 2021 and the medical staff at the Foothills hospital would not treat him once they determined he was not jabbed with the latest "tested at the speed of science" injection.
How did they do this? By ignoring him. Literally. See, this is how they can say "well the patient left the hospital". Wouldn't you if you aren't being treated after hours of wait time only to be told you're not dying so ... ? Wouldn't even offer a tourniquet. His wife had to ask and waited an additional 45 minutes before realizing no one was coming back to give her one.
His only saving grace was a customer who had a private doctor and was willing to forgoe her appointment for his benefit. That Doctor was able to get surgery time at the South Calgary Campus to do the necessary work on his shoulder. His head injury has improved only slightly and as a rancher/farmer his injuries have been very hard on his family as they struggle to fill his role.
While I suggested they file a formal complaint with AHS they do not feel they will get an impartial outcome so they are clearly already demoralized by the system. Bravo AHS!
